Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre is a friendly, professional, family run riding centre that has been established since 2003. Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre is a 5* licensed riding centre (No 23/01041/AWACT), approved by the British Horse Society (BHS), the Association of British Riding Schools (ABRS) and as a Pony Club Centre. We can be found of the A38 just outside Dursley, within easy travelling distance of Stroud, Gloucester and Bristol. 

The Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre is owned by Renee Watkins, who is a BHS Al Qualified instructor. The yard is jointly run by Renee and her sister Naomi Watkins, who is also a qualified instructor. Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre also has a variety of instructors who also teach at the yard, specialist trainers visit regularly to hold dressage, show jumping and cross country clinics for our more experienced pupils, livery owners and horse owners from other yards.

Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced rider Tumpy Green Equestrian Centre has something to offer you. We provide a safe, fun learning environment where you can develop your equestrian skills at a pace that suits you. From Fun Days to Dressage Clinics we have a wide and varied program to suit all levels of experience and confidence.

We have a selection of horses and ponies to suit all ages and abilities, so we can be sure to match your individual needs with the most suitable partner. We normally have around 40 horses and ponies so plenty of choice!

We have a wide variety of staff, so whether you are riding for the first time, returning to riding after many years, or an experienced rider we can offer you instruction at the right level for you.

Our excellent facilities include: Floodlit indoor arena, large floodlit outdoor arena, cross country course, full set of show jumps and Eventers Challenge track, ample parking for cars, trailers and horseboxes. Immediate access to off road riding.
